16 Facebook Post Ideas to Increase Reach and Engagement
Facebook is the number 1 platform for small business owners to reach and build engagement with their target audience. There are, however, some business owners that don’t know what to post on Facebook.
In this article, you will find post ideas that we have tested ourselves. These ideas may invite your fans to like, share and comment on your Facebook posts to hopefully increase the engagement and trafic to your website. It should be incorporated in your social media strategy to set you apart from other pages.
1. Share a solution to a problem
This type of post will add value to your online community. To do this, you have to make sure that you understand the problems that your audience is facing daily and know the solutions they might need.
For example, if you’re in the makeup industry serving professional women who don’t have time to shop for the perfect foundation. You can do a video explaining how to pick the right fondation in less than 5 minutes.
2. Ask a question
Seeking for your fan’s opinion always work. People like to give their two cents. your community will feel special and valued. Most importantly, it may work because your fan’s friends may see your content even if they’re not currently fans of your page. ( Depends of personal page privacy settings ).
3. Run a contest
Contests are always popular. Try to host a contest every quarter or every 6 months to give back to your community and share something valuable to them as they bring so much value to you just by engaging with your content.

Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, freelancer or blogger, you can differentiate yourself from big brands by posting behind the scenes content. Don’t hesitate to share a team photo or a meeting with a new client once in a while.

These are popular in fashion, fitness and home-related industries. It actually shows the progression of an idea so your audience can see and believe in your the services you offer. It also adds to your credibility.

Along the way, you might see that you have a fan that always engage with your content. Give that person a shoutout so they can feel special and see how attentive you are.
