How to make this new year your best one ? A question that successful people reflect on every year, while planning their goals. Whether you would like to take your game to a new level spiritually, financially, socially, in your business life and in your relationships ; you have to strive to become the best in every aspect of your life.
Everything you do is a result of habits. The challenge is to form good habits and make them your masters and not allowing bad habits to control you. The good news is that all habits are learned and can be unlearned. You can replace your bad habits with good habits that has more powerful impact in your life. Keep in mind that new habits have to be aligned with the goals you want to achieve.
Know your weakness
You have to recognize the things that are keeping you from achieving your goals. Often, we repeat bad habits without even realizing it.For example, one of my bad habits was procrastination. I kept avoiding doing the tasks that needed to be accomplished for me to move forward. Things started to change only once I realized that this bad habit was the reason why I was not reaching my goals. You can only fix the things you are aware of. Change your environment
You become who you surround yourself with. If you want to have greatness in your life, surround yourself with great people. Think about where you want to take your business and your personal life. And make a list of people you would like to interact with. Choose people who are better than you in the area that you would like to improve yourself in. For instance, if your goal is to be fit, make new friends that are passionate about fitness and health. Their energy will pour into you and soon enough you will be more inspired and motivated to go to the gym. By creating this list you will find yourself making a more conscious effort to spend time with these people.

Involve your new habit in everything you do, even in your daily conversations. Write it down and meditate about it. Your new habit needs to constantly be on your mind. For example, if you want to eat more vegetables. Do some research about nutrients in each vegetables, go to your local store and buy some vegetables, discover new recipes, join a healthy cooking club. You can even go as far as visualizing yourself eating vegetable. It has to be an obsession.
