Fear is the number one reason that stops people from achieving their goals. It’s that mental or physical block that prevents you from being the best version of yourself. I honestly experience fear every day. I feel fear before making that phone call or going to that new place alone. More recently, I felt fearful when launching my new Social Media Workshop in Montreal. My mind came up with the worst thoughts, and I had to change my thinking. Otherwise, I knew I could kiss my dreams goodbye. This is what fear does, it blocks you from doing the things you really want by making you believe things that aren’t true about yourself. The good news is that you can through willingness and practice conquer your fears. Here’s how :
Now that you’ve watched this video, you’re ready to conquer your fears. It’s a process; your fears won’t go away in just one day. The first step is awareness, so take a five-minute break and list your fears on a piece of paper. Ask yourself the following questions to help narrow down your answers:
- What am I most afraid of in life?
- What are the things that I would love to do but won’t do because I’m scared?
- What actions will I take today to conquer my fears?
