The International Black Expo Design‘s fourth edition took place at the luxurious Loft hotel in Montreal on April 24 to 26. The event was organized by AMA Design, a platform that is encouraging the promotion of contemporary African designs while contributing to the discovery of designers from around the world.

The International Black Expo Design #IBED2015 brought a special touch to its 2015 edition. Remembering the tragic earthquake that occurred in Haiti in 2010, this year’s theme was Haiti United with a special participation of the Association of Haitian designers – HAND and Nadège St-Philippe as a spokesperson.

  1. I love these events, especially now that so many black designers are incorporating African Print, I love to see the different ways western designers use the print compared to African designers!

  2. Those images from last year are stunning!! I wish there was something similar in my county. That event sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing.
