Instead of starting your day with a coffee, I challenge you to consider sipping something a little more nourishing and rejuvenating like an all natural Energy-Boosting Smoothie.

The smoothie I am sharing today is good for you as it is delicious and can be enjoyed as either a morning breakfast or afternoon snack. The nutrients in this Energy-Boosting Smoothie will feed every cell of your body. It is delicious! Sip this through the morning, or save some for the afternoon. As Kimberly Snyder mentions in her book The Beauty Detox Solution , drinking green smoothies is a great way to incorporate tremendous amounts of greens into your diet – far more than just eating your veggies. 

Natural Energy-Boosting Smoothie

You need : a blender


• 1 cup of water
• 2 cups of spinach ( chopped )
• 1 cup romaine lettuce ( chopped )
• 1 small apple and  1/2 banana
• 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice

Blend the water, spinach and romaine first.

Add the apple, banana and lemon juice, and blend again until smooth.
